Waivers & Safety

Your Safety is our #1 Priority

At Pure Wave Rentals, the safety and well-being of our customers is our top priority. We understand that boating can come with certain risks, and we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who joins us on the water. Our boats are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure they are in top condition, and our experienced and licensed captains are trained to handle any situation that may arise.

Before each trip, our customers will receive a safety briefing and instructions on how to properly use all of the equipment on board. In addition, life jackets and other safety gear will be provided and must be worn at all times by any passenger under the age of 12. Life jackets and other safety gear will be provided and encouraged to be worn by all passengers during the trip.

We also encourage all of our customers to follow boating safety guidelines and to practice good judgement while on the water. This includes staying aware of weather conditions, being mindful of other boats and swimmers, and refraining from alcohol or drug use while operating the boat.

We hope that by taking these precautions, our customers can relax and enjoy their time on the water, knowing that their safety is in good hands. We take our responsibility to ensure safety very seriously and we are committed to providing the best boating experience possible. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Boater License Courses:
If you’re operating a boat and were born on or after January 1, 1988, you’ll need a Boater Safety Education Card. You can complete:

  • The Four-Hour Permanent Boater License Course

  • Or the Temporary Boater License Course
(Choose the one that best suits your needs.)

Florida Boat Safety Course

In Florida, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988,  who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course, but at Pure Wave Boats & Rentals we require all renters acquire a license to be able to rent.

Each license holder must have in his/her possession photographic identification and a boater safety identification card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Before heading out, please complete the following waivers to ensure a smooth and safe rental experience. These forms cover important safety rules, rental terms, and boat operation basics:
